Candice Starr a.k.a Starrfire
Candice was first introduced to the art of hooping in 2000, by a great friend Shanah Powell. Candice instantly fell in love with her new dance partner as she learned how to move with the hoop and become one with each movement. Hooping has given her the confidence to let go and feel free. In 2004 she moved to New Mexico and brought her hooping skills with her, she slowing started getting her friends in to the art of hooping and as she did that she realized that this was her calling, to teach the art of hooping!!!!
In 2009 Candice started her own business: Centerforce Hoops, which offers handmade hula hoops, play shops for schools, weekly classes, private lessons, workshops, parties and so much more!! Candice loves to teach, she finds endless joy watching her students grow as hoopers and gain confidence in there own flow. As she passes the hooping experience to others she feels the greatest warmth in her heart knowing that she is sharing such a wonderful thing.
Candice will never be done learning the art of hooping, she is always trying to expand her hooping skills by staying on top of the latest adventures in hooping. Her talents include, double hooping, minis, fire hooping and LED hooping. Candice has performed at many gatherings across the Western States form deep in the Mojave Desert to the underground's of LA and the forest of New Mexico.

Chris Starr
Chris Starr has been around hoopers since 2000 but didn't pick up his own hoop till spring of 2010. Now in love with the art of hoopdance he helps his wife Candice with performances and performs himself. The kids look up to him, especially the boys they love seeing a guy hooper which gets the boys more involved.
